Rx for
Business courses
are designed to inform and educate physicians and healthcare professionals who
are responsible for managing the economics of healthcare practices. Participants will be introduced to best
practices for managing their businesses and for producing excellent
results. Courses vary from teaching
residents who are about to enter private practice the details they need to
successfully launch a practice to courses designed for the professional who has been practicing long enough to
recognize where gaps exist in their business acumen. Single-topic presentations are offered to address current
issues, such as electronic health records or current trends affecting medical
practices. Presentations based on specific topics can also be created at your
request.

Business – Broadening Your Business Knowledge Base
This course is designed for the healthcare
professional who has already launched a practice and now needs additional specific information to successfully manage it. Participants at this seminar have had experience managing
and/or owning a practice and have specific topics of concern. Specific audience questions will be
addressed in detail. Topics
include:

Business – Healthcare Reform
This
one-hour presentation is designed to provide an overview of the major themes of
the healthcare reform. This
presentation is appropriate for all healthcare providers and practice managers.

Rx for Business – Calculating Return On Investment
for EHR Implementation
As practices implement EHRs it is important to
determine up-front costs, continuing costs and potential benefits. This one-hour presentation will discuss
